Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku — Logic Refined ("the App") handles information about you when you use the App.

Information we do NOT collect

• No user accounts. The App has no sign-in.
• No personal identifiers (name, email, phone, device ID, IP address fingerprints).
• No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers.
• No location data.

Data stored locally on your device

The App uses the system UserDefaults store to keep your in-progress puzzle state, settings (theme, language, haptics, AI configuration), and purchase entitlement. This data never leaves your device unless you initiate the AI explanation feature (see below).

AI Explanation feature (optional, off by default)

If you configure an AI provider in Settings (your own API base URL and API key for an OpenAI-compatible service) and tap the "Explain" or "Analyze" buttons in the App, the App will send the following data directly from your device to the AI provider you chose:

• The current sudoku board state (a list of 81 digits 1-9 or empty).
• The technique name or mistake list being explained.

This data is sent only over HTTPS to the API endpoint you have configured. We do not receive, see, or store this data. The provider's own privacy policy governs any handling of the data on their side.

In-App Purchases

The App supports a one-time non-consumable purchase (Sudoku Pro Unlock) through Apple's StoreKit. Apple handles the transaction; we receive only an entitlement receipt to unlock features. We do not see your payment method or Apple ID.

Children

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any data from children or anyone else.

Changes

If we update this policy, the new version will appear on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
